Good to be 'back'

It was so great to feel well enough to slap on the sunscreen, pop on the hat, cover up and go get some fresh spring air into my lungs.
With lots of breaks I managed to clean out the chooks and watch Zola and Bluebelle dive in and roll around squeaking with joy

Soon to be followed by white Willow, Dolly, Mary, Freckles, Snowy, Poppy

Henrietta, Daisy,

and Gozzie at the back

L-R Mary, Willow, Gozzie (at the back again) Freckles, Snowy

Willow and Freckles - Belgium Barbu d' Uccles

The little minxies have scratched up and rolled back the lining underneath the gravel path to have a dust bath

Opps sorry Henrietta  - did I wake you?

Bergenia  - tucked away beside the studio

A forgotten clematis surging out of a pot!

Colourful Crocus

Heavenly hellebores

And the last of the snowdrops

Yes - Happiness is being able to enjoy a spring day

Pure Bliss

  2. Thanks for the peeks of Spring... I take it you have been ill....Hope everything perks up along with the flowers. We still have snow cover here in Minnesota, someday when I retire I want to have chickens for the eggs..... how much work are they!

  4. The chooks and garden are looking really well. Wish I could say the same about my garden... we've had so much rain that it's rather muddy!
