A walk around my garden in the morning.

I don't have enough time this morning to type up and post photos of yesterday - off to get pulled about and needled. In the meantime I thought you might like to take a quick walk with me around my garden this morning.

You saw it bare and stark in the winter - so enjoy it in the spring.

My morning route to feed the chickens - I love the frothy blue forget me nots and leave it to self seed all around the garden. The seeds came from my dear friend Maxines garden in Australia and serve as a constant reminder of happy times spent with her.

And the walk back the same route - things look so different when you look the other way don't they?

One border by the side of the pen, already hiding the chicken wire, and lots more colour to come of course.

A view to the pond - the lovely orange euphorbia to the right and all the greenery with the promise of summer colour yet to look forward too.

The same photo taken a week or so ago, showed the hosta just emerging in the pot and the henpecked lavenders - now showing signs of recovery.
